Courses Accreditation
ILPKK has been accredited by Development Skills Department (DSD) as part of the National Skills Certification Programme to undertake training and assessment in specific skills programmes at different skill levels that ultimately lead to the award of the Malaysian Skill Certificates (MSC/SKM) and training modules are aligned with NOSS and Syllabus based. The definitions of syllabus, NOSS and MSC are given below:
- Course syllabus - based on NOSS which is modified by National Industrial Expertise (NIE) and Industrial Training Institutes' instructor.
- National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) - a specification of the competencies expected of a skill worker who is gainfully employed in Malaysia for an occupational area and level.
- MSC/SKM - Malaysian Skills Certification/Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia
Facilities
- Training fees are fully sponsored by Manpower Department
- Monthly allowances - RM100.00 (Monthly)
- Industrial training allowances - RM300.00 (Monthly)
- Accommodation provided: Hostel, library, computer lab, classes, sports and recreational facilities; and training labs
- Insurances and medical facilities are arranged by the Institute
- Wi-Fi is available on campus
Qualification
- Malaysian Citizens
- School leavers or industry workers aged 17-30 years old
- Pass SPM/SPMV with credits in Mathematics/Additional Mathematics, Science/Physics with pass in Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Inggeris and 1 other subject
- For Chargeman courses, candidates must be 20 years old and above, pass SKM level 2 in electrical field with 3 years competencies in two-phase wiring.
